Dreaming Big is NOT Enough

Dreaming is one of the most profound human experiences.

In my eyes, there are two fundamentally different kinds of dreaming.

The first one is entirely subconscious, the second one originates from the subconscious but is done by the conscious self.

The latter works much in the manner I elucidated in my post Thinking about thinking, does that mean therefore I am? Who is I anyway?

So if you missed that one, I encourage you to check it out!

But to get back to the point, I will be focusing on the latter kind of dreaming today.

The kind of dreaming that we actively do
The kind of dreaming that makes our life worth living.
The kind of dreaming that is so intriguing some of us get lost in it.

I do not endeavor to tell you how to dream,
because I believe an expert dreamer resides in every single one of us.

If you haven’t found it, listen closer.
Listen carefully and don’t ever give up on it,
for the noise of the world is loud,
but your voice can only whisper.

What I am here to tell you, however, is that dreaming alone won’t be enough.

DREAM BIG, but here is the most important part: WORK HARD.

And I am not talking about physical work.

I am talking about working against the discouragement.
I am talking about working against waiting for the right time.
I am talking about working against fear of failure.
I am talking about working against doubt.

Work and fight for your dreams as hard as you can,
because if you don't, no-one will.

Follow YOUR dreams by WORKING HARD.
If you don't, someone will hire you to follow theirs.

Don’t wait for tomorrow, for tomorrow never comes.

Start today.

Stay tuned Growthinkers.
